Our participant interest forms request your name, contact information, language and contact preferences, and permission to contact you about research. They do not enroll you in a study and are not medical prescreening forms.
Please do not provide diagnoses, medication lists, medical history, identification documents, or medical records through a basic website form. The research team will explain the appropriate process if screening information is needed.
Professional-interest forms and direct business inquiries may collect contact information and relevant professional background.
How we use website inquiries.
We use the information you provide to respond to your request, discuss research opportunities, arrange appropriate follow-up, and manage relevant business or professional inquiries. Participant interest requests may be reviewed by EPCT staff responsible for research follow-up.
You may ask us to update your contact information or stop contacting you about future research opportunities. A website contact request is separate from study-specific informed consent and any authorization used during clinical research.
Website providers and communications.
This site is hosted by Squarespace. Native website forms use Squarespace’s form and contact-management features, and submission notifications may be delivered to EPCT’s email service. These service providers process information needed to operate the website and handle inquiries.
We may also disclose information when required by law or as otherwise explained to you for an appropriate research or business process.
Ordinary website and email communications should not be treated as a substitute for a separately approved clinical information system. We do not promise that every website interaction is protected by HIPAA or that electronic communication is risk-free.
Cookies, usage information, and external links.
Squarespace may process technical and usage information, such as browser, device, IP address, pages visited, and cookies, to operate the site and provide website analytics. Embedded maps, fonts, and linked external services may have their own data practices.
We do not intentionally include names, email addresses, phone numbers, diagnoses, or form answers in custom analytics event parameters. Please review the privacy practices of external sites you choose to visit.
